Shawn spent some time playing this role of "Dr. Derek Stephenson", a doctor without borders character for his five episode run with the "Las Vegas" series. His character arrives in town to try and rekindle a relationship with his college sweetheart "Delinda Deline", played by the beautiful Molly Sims. Their chemistry does re spark and after Delinda helps Dr. Derek deliver a baby on the casino floor, she does agree to marry him. But alas, things fall drastically apart on their wedding day.
