Is it tough to gain a fair divorce settlement when your wife is a powerful lawyer working for a prestigious law firm? That was the case scenario for Shawn's character "Tim Bauer" when the wannabe golf pro chooses to end his marriage with his estranged lawyer wife "Denise" played by the Emmy winning Actress Julie Bowen ("Modern Family"). His character would even try a very creative contriving approach by hiring a clergy/ lawyer to help evoke a hefty settlement.
