Shawn joined the cast of the Web format production of “Venice the Series” in 2010. He would play the role of "Brandon" a homicide detective working on a case involving some unique circumstances. Brandon is also a support mechanism for troubled Guya played by the veteran actress Hillary B. Smith (OLTL).
The second year of filming for this series heralded a prestigious Daytime Emmy in the Creative Arts Special Short Format Category for co-creators Kim Turissi and Crystal Chappell.
