Mike is hiding in Rosanna's barn. Evan enters and berates Rosanna for helping Mike. He tells her she is now aiding and abetting a fugitive. Mike tries to explain about the police bus accident. Evan doesn't want to hear it and is going to turn him in. Mike stands his ground and tries to leave. A fight ensues. Cal arrives and breaks up the fight. He knows that Mike helped Connor. Cal persuades the police to take Mike to the hospital. As Mike sits in the chair getting his stitches, he flashes back to another time when Rosanna tenderly doctored his wounds.
