     Shawn's character "Wade Brixton" gets caught in the crossfire as Good vs Evil in this series set in New Gotham.  He meets  "Barbara Gorden" (Dina Meyer) while working together with her at the same school. He becomes romantically involved with her and later finds out that she is actually Batman's protege who is continuing the effort to fight the forces of Evil in New Gotham.  And Evil does comes out to play in the form of  "Dr. Harleen Quinzel" (Mia Sara) who takes control of the Clock Tower and puts Wade into a trance. Her passionate kiss turns out to be a kiss of death as she unmercifully stabs the life out of Wade.
